What is a Heat Press?

A heat press is a machine engineered to imprint a design or graphic on a substrate, such as a t-shirt, with the application of heat and pressure for a preset period of time.

Heat Press is one of the most economical and quickest options to decorate a shirt at Shirt Factory & Sporting Goods.  There is only one major limitation to heat press...certain types of materials contain plastic fiber and can melt or pucker when heat is applied, so if you are in doubt about certain items you are wanting heat pressed, just ask.
 

Heat Press Vinyl

Your desired design is cut from a high quality vinyl and added to the garment by the use of our Heat Press machine. Our heat applied vinyl is very durable and is bonded with improved adhesive that guarantees that your design will not peel away in the wash or anywhere else. When using vinyl, also called press on, there is a restriction to one or two colors per design.

This option is generally used for numbers and names for team uniforms and touring shirts but can also be used for sponsor logos and chest badges. T-shirt heat press is also a popular option for a fast turnaround with teams or groups with a small number of individuals. This is a popular option for Greek lettering, reunions, Father's Day gifts, and other custom one-of-kind apparel.

We stock a generous supply of heat apply vinyl in various colors. Supplementary colors are available with notice.

Heat Press Transfers

Heat Press Transfers are a great way to get a full color design on you shirt. Designed and printed from a computer we a create a custom design up to 8½" x 11". This is a great way to show off your personal artwork, advertise your band, or just tell the world what's on your mind.

Fund Raiser

Do you have a large local event coming up and you need a fund-raiser? We can come to your event with shirts, a transfer of your design, and heat press them on the spot. A portion of the sales come back to you. Not in our area? Not a problem, we can pre-press your shirts and send them to you.
